I am very much inspired by the sustained performance of the startup community in Southern Sweden, I have decided to devote myself to protecting and thriving this Nordic sanctuary for startups, as I believe they constitute the major countering power against the force that celebrates conservatism and denies the otherness of the Swedish society.

What's your story before Skåne Startups?

I was once working as a Social Media Journalist at CGTN Arabic affiliated to China Central Television before I moved to Sweden. There was then a period of time when I was doing my master study in the program of Middle Eastern Studies in Lund University before I became a part of Skåne Startups.

What was your role at Skåne Startups?

I worked as a member of the marketing team, creating visual assets for social media accounts, conducting analysis on website activity and SEO performance, as well as helping organize various events! Everyday is a new day.

What did you enjoy the most at Skåne Startups?

What I always enjoy is the absolute unbiased, emancipated and international working sphere; fast-paced, self-challenged but always people-oriented working style; adorable, beautifully minded and amazingly enlightened working people.

Can you tell us about your current work?

I work as Creative Designer at Talent Match AB, a Stockholm-based startup company affiliated to Talent Venture Group; as well as Head of Product at my own company called Merkurius Media, a studio providing 2D and 3D visual assets; and a volunteer at the management team of Stockholm Dual Career Network. It's really fun to have diverse working contents and hold different positions at the same time!

What is your advice for other talents?

Keep researching, learning and trying different media tools and SaaSes. Sometimes a new, but excellent, and somehow marginalised application or software can lead you, your company or your business to succeed.

Something you are unreasonably passionate about?

Singing, hiking, loving all creatures and giving helps to anyone from the startup community!
