As a recipient of the Swedish Institute Global Scholarship, I had the opportunity to connect with highly educated students from Africa, which ignited my interest in startups and tech on the continent.
After I left my job in Helsinki on 2020 June, I found the time to delve deeper into this domain and launched the Tech Cheetah project. There are three primary objectives: comprehending innovation ecosystems across different African regions, facilitating connections between international investors and rapidly growing early-stage tech startups in Africa, and reshaping Africa's narrative, particularly in Chinese media, by showcasing the inspiring stories of African innovators and entrepreneurs.
While the project is currently on pause, I eagerly look forward to connecting with tech founders in Africa again.
